Cancelled – Free R&B/Soul/Reggae Concert: The Byron Shaw Projex

Unfortunately the weather is expected to be 60% chance of thunderstorms this evening, Tuesday August 21, 2018 and we have canceled the Gardens on Havana concert tonight.

We will be donating the ice creams to On Havana Street businesses.

We will give do the gift card giveaways at the next 2 events – Pets On Havana Street 9/28/18, Gibby’s Bronco Party 10/7/18 and on our social media.

Bring a lawn chair and something nonalcoholic to drink and join us Tuesday evening, August 21 at 6 p.m. for an evening of R&B, Soul and Reggae.  Byron Shaw, the lead singer of Judge Roughneck, and his band will perform live on stage in the rose garden.  This concert will be a “dress rehearsal” for the Band’s upcoming performance at Reggae on the Rock at Red Rock Amphitheatre on August 26, 2018.  You are in for a real treat!

Byron is giving back to the Aurora community in a big way as a member of Aurora’s Homeless Street Outreach Team and hosts a therapy “drum circle” at the Aurora Day Resource Center for people experiencing homelessness in the city.  We truly appreciate his talents and efforts in our community.

Everyone in attendance will receive a ticket for a chance to win door prizes (no purchase necessary).  The door prize drawings will take place at 7 p.m.

Annual Ice Cream Social, too:   The August Concert is our annual ice cream social.   The first 400 people in attendance will receive a free ice cream, frozen yogurt or frozen custard sundae courtesy of On Havana Street.

Pictured is Byron and his band performing at the Mile High Behavioral Health/Comitis Christmas Party in December 2017.
