Here’s the Scoop: 6 Shops Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with FREE Frozen Treat Samples

It’s National Ice Cream Day and with all of this heat, a day set aside for these frozen treats is just what’s needed. On July 21, 2019, On Havana Street hosted a Progressive Frozen Treats Party at six shops throughout the business improvement corridor.

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of July and loved celebrating with our On Havana Street businesses along the Havana Business Improvement District corridor.

We had about 300 participants SAMPLE FREE frozen treats & ice cream On Havana Street with family and friends.

We also had about 200 entries entered to WIN Four Season Passes to Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park (VALUED AT ~$720).

Our lucky winner this year was Michael M. He is six years old and has never been to Elitch Gardens. He is very excited to take his family this summer.

How Attendees Participated:

• Attendees stopped by the merchants listed below On Havana Street on Sunday, July 21, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for free samples.
• After sampling a frozen treat/ice cream then each merchant stamped your Participation form for their location.
• Participant forms & entry boxes for completed forms were available at all participating merchant locations.
• Once an attendee collected stamps from at least 5 of the 6 merchants listed below, then they could drop off their completed stamped registration form into an entry box located at all the merchants to enter the drawing for FOR THE GRAND PRIZE – Four Season Passes to Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park (VALUED AT $720)
• No purchase was necessary to enter. Also attendees did not need to be present to win.
• The $720 value GRAND PRIZE – Four Season Passes to Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park were sponsored by On Havana Street—Havana Business Improvement District.
• The drawing took place at 4:30 p.m. on July 21, 2019, with the winner notified by phone.
• All completed forms had to provide a name and phone number to contact the winner.
