Kimco Realty’s Village on the Park website indicates that Mod Pizza will be coming as part of the shopping center’s redevelopment plans on the NW corner of Havana and Parker Rd. There is currently one Mod Pizza located in Centennial and a second location coming soon to the Village Center in Highlands Ranch.
Mod Pizza was started in 2008 in Seattle by husband and wife team Scott and Ally Svenson. They call their employees “The Mod Squad.” Mod Pizza is a superfast-casual Artisian-style pizza restaurant. Their mantra is “people before pizza” and “gratitude with attitude.” Their website states that their “purpose is to create a positive social impact on the lives of our employees and their communities.” They offer employees above-industry pay and they hire people with special needs to work in their restaurants. We look forward to welcoming Mod Pizza as part of the Village on the Park Shopping Center redevelopment in 2017.
