Aurora hosting first-ever Waste-free Luncheon and Recycling Fair
AURORA, Colo. – Enjoy a light lunch and local libations with zero waste and zero guilt June 8 at the city of Aurora’s inaugural Waste-free Luncheon and Recycling Fair.
Everything will be composted or recycled at the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The People’s Building, 9995 E. Colfax Ave. Information will be available about where to recycle electronics, light bulbs, household chemicals, appliances and more.
A cash bar will be available. While lunch is free, participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item or cash donation to benefit the Colfax Community Network and Interfaith Community Services.
