WHERE: In the Rose Garden Plaza at The Gardens on Havana, located on the back row of stores in between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Petco (corner of Garden Drive and Ironton Street).

WHAT: Bring a pair of garden gloves and pruning shears, if you have them. Members of the Denver Rose Society will be on hand to give free training on how to prune roses. We will be pruning out dead canes, weeding, and shaping the shrub roses so they produce beautiful blooms for our summer rose garden concert series (pictured–the garden in full bloom).
RAIN/SNOW DATE: With our crazy Colorado weather, if we do get rain/snow on May 7, we will reschedule the clean up for Saturday, May 14 from 9-11 a.m. We will post a notice of cancellation on the homepage at www.OnHavanaStreet.com if we do need to cancel on May 7. You can also call Gayle at 303-514-0958 the morning of May 7 to find out if the clean-up is cancelled.
