Sandy Friedman is from Colorado Springs. Sandy Friedman’s career in the arts started in high school in 1965. He went on to earn a Masters’ Degree in Fine Arts in Ceramics and Sculpture. Sandy recently retired from the public art program in Colorado Springs. Sandy’s works are shown in galleries in Sedona, Manitou Springs and Salida. Sandy also had a sculpture in the 2016-2017 Art 2C on Havana entitled “My Mental Garden” which had been on display at Concorde Healthcare at 1st & Havana. Sandy utilizes both steel, powder coating and chroming techniques to create larger sculptural forms, like “Court Jester of Space” which will be installed at The Stampede at Parker Rd & Havana.
