The selection panel met in May to review the 89 sculptured received in this year’s call for entries. Here is a sneak preview of the sculptures selected by the selection panel for the 2017/2018 Art 2C on Havana exhibition. Sculptures for 12 of the 13 sites have been confirmed. We are still waiting on one property owner’s decision. We are in the process of notifying the artists and confirming with the artists that all of the sculptures are still available. One sculpture, Picasso’s Violin, had already been sold but the artist will create another version in a slightly different red color, more of a red violet. These new sculptures will be installed in October 2017.
