We announced the award winners of the 2017/2018 Art 2C on Havana Exhibition on Friday, Nov. 3, at the Western Gala at The Outpost Club.
First Place went to Shohini Ghosh for her sculpture “Gossip” which is on display at M-Mart
We had a tie for second place between Rollin Karg’s sculpture “Catano’s Son” on display at Havana Tower, 1450 S Havana, and Jodie Bliss’ Sculpture “Picasso’s Violin” on display at Concorde Healthcare Training.
We had a fantastic time at The Outpost Club with a great dinner and a little square dancing after the program. Everyone enjoyed the venue, The Outpost Club, at Colorado Avenue & Fulton Street just west of Lowe’s. It was built in 1961 by current proprietor George N Smith and still had the original beautiful hardwood dance floor and old western charm.
