Connecting Aurora: Join us to share your thoughts about transportation in our city

March 26th, 2024

In April, the community will have its initial chance to participate in Connecting Aurora, our first-ever citywide multimodal transportation master plan.

Connecting Aurora will examine the city holistically to identify projects, policies, standards, and programs that will make the city’s transportation systems safer, more comfortable, and more convenient for everyone.

Whether you walk, bike, roll, drive, or take transit in Aurora, you are invited to share what challenges you face related to transportation and what you care about related to mobility in this city.

Plan to attend one of our four open houses, where a food truck will provide a meal and refreshments on a first-come, first-served basis. Show up anytime during the two-hour period on the following dates:

• Tuesday, April 2, 5 to 7 p.m.

Aurora Central Library, 14949 E. Alameda Parkway

• Wednesday, April 10, 5 to 7 p.m.

Mission Viejo Library, 15324 E. Hampden Circle

• Wednesday, April 17, 5 to 7 p.m.

Martin Luther King Jr. Library, 9898 E. Colfax Ave.

• Tuesday, April 23, 5 to 7 p.m.

Tallyn’s Reach Library, 23911 E. Arapahoe Road

If you cannot attend an open house, visit EngageAurora.org/ConnectingAurora to view the online open house and provide input. Additional feedback opportunities will happen later this year and into 2025. Visit the website to sign up for project updates.

The city will provide Spanish interpretation at the open houses. To request other language interpretation, email [email protected] at least five days in advance of a scheduled open house.
