We believe that our communities thrive when we create equal access to opportunity for small business owners. Through the DoorDash Accelerator for Local Restaurants, we are improving access to technical assistance and restaurant education that will help small businesses adapt, grow, and thrive.
Together, DoorDash and Accion Opportunity Fund, along with other restaurant industry experts, constructed a curriculum that provides restaurant owners with immersive courses designed to help grow their business, covering topics such as marketing, access to capital, managing cash flow and menu creation. To-date, over 1,000 businesses have participated. This Fall, we’re partnering with the Hispanic Restaurant Association – Denver Chapter and the Black Business Association of Oregon to bring these cohorts to new locations for local restaurant owners.
