What is the Grocery Cart Race?
The 10th Annual Grocery Cart Race is a fundraising event that raises funds and food for the Comitis Crisis Center, which is the only 24/7 shelter in Aurora, Colorado. The event looks similar to the fan favorite game show Supermarket Sweep though this year the event will be hosted by you. Participating groups will be provided a large collection box and fundraising webpage to help collect food, supplies and funds for your team. Prizes will be awarded to teams for fundraising, food collected and other fun categories. A list of recommended grocery items and hygiene supplies will be provided to each registered team.
All participants can celebrate together at the virtual event taking place on November 3rd at the conclusion of the fundraising and collection efforts. Teams can participate by collecting food, organizing a fundraising page or both.
