Dear Community Members,

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

This year’s theme is “Overcoming Barriers & Bridging the Divide: Advocating for Women’s Liberation”. The event will showcase how women within the community actively commit to supporting, accepting, and elevating each other despite differences of cultures/backgrounds through advocacy work; and how coming together in unison will impact our nation for the better.

Join ALG’s Women Empowerment committee on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Denver Botanic Gardens in Mitchell Hall.
