This event is happening despite the rain.  The forecast calls for the rain to clear mid-morning.  The porta potty has arrived.  See you between 12 noon and 3 p.m.

This is one of our most popular events!

We will be doing this electronic recycling event on the official Earth Day in 2017!  Entercom Radio will be partnering with us to get the word out.  We have Techno+Rescue scheduled for this event but have not started pulling the necessary permits yet.

There will be NO DOCUMENT SHREDDING taking place at this event.

Yes, you can recycle TVs, but no longer for free.  EPA regulations classify materials in CRT TVs and Monitor as hazardous:  https://www.epa.gov/hw/cathode-ray-tubes-crts-0

The cost of proper disposal of lead, cadmium, barium and other fluorescents found in CRT TVs and CRT Computer Monitors has gone up to the point that the Havana Business Improvement District can no longer afford to provide free CRT TV recycling for everyone.
