The Aurora Day Resource Center supports individuals and families experiencing trauma, addiction, recovery, mental health issues, and homelessness. To learn about recommended donations, additional drop-off locations, and volunteer opportunities visit rockitsockit.org – Home.
Requested items include new (not worn) winter socks of all sizes for men, women, and children; toiletries (unopened travel-size toiletries to include shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, lip balm, deodorant, disposable razors, combs, brushes, and nail clippers); new undergarments – a list can be found at rockitsockit.org – Home.
Also, Saturday, February 22, 2025, is the Inaugural Aurora Day of Giving benefitting the Rock It, Sock It Sock Drive, sponsored by The Aurora Police Department and the Aurora Fire Department. On this day, there will be additional drop off locations at any Aurora Fire Station, Library, or Recreation Center.
