Let’s Celebrate Small Business Month 2023 at M MART – On Havana Street
This is a collaboration Event with Korea Town Aurora • Aurora Sister Cities International • Yelp CO • Havana Business Improvement District – On Havana Street
Goal: Engage with 100 Yelp CO Elites to share Korean cuisine and culture On Havana Street with Korea Town Aurora and ASCI
Date: Wednesday, March 22, 2023
Location: M Mart – 2000 S Havana St, Aurora, CO 80012
M Mart is the only Korean independently owned international grocery market in Colorado and celebrating over 40 years in business in Aurora, Colorado. Everything you need for your Asian and international cooking can be found here: fresh vegetables, sprouts, quail eggs, bok choy, tofu, dumplings, miso paste, large Korean peaches and pears, Japanese and Korean style specialty noodles. A fresh meat and seafood counter. A large selection of frozen seafood and freshly made sushi. Dried seaweed, rice, ramen, grains, beans, sesame oils, soy, fish sauces, teas and more. Japanese & Korean candies, beverages and snacks. A very large frozen food section featuring dumplings and potstickers. There is also a gift shop, Korean sushi caterer – ATA Sushi & Sashimi, Jong Ga House – Korean restaurant and Honey Bakery – Korean bakery on site, too.
This is a private event and invite only by Yelp Colorado. This is not a public event.
3:30-4:45pm – Volunteers will help set up sample stations and signage
5-6:30pm – 1st Group of 50 Yelp CO Elites
7-8:30pm – 2nd Group of 50 Yelp CO Elites
Each group of Yelp CO Elites will have 90 minutes for mingling, sampling and shopping.
Each station will have 2-3 ASCI/Asian Partnership volunteers (total of 10-15 volunteers) to help with serving samples and sharing fun facts about the items
There will be 5 stations around the grocery store featuring items sold at M Mart.

There will be signage at each station with an item description of each sample.

Banana Flavored Milk (Korean: 바나나맛 우유) is a popular and refreshing South Korean milk beverage produced by Binggrae in Korea.
Please enjoy samples of kimchi cabbage, gochujang and jap chae noodles.
Kimchi/kim chee, (a traditional Korean side dish of salted and pickled cabbage with a wide selection of seasonings like gochugaru, spring onions, garlic, ginger, and jeotgal, etc. Kimchi is often added to a variety of other Korean soups, stews and dishes).
Gochujang (a spicy paste used in Korean cooking, made from red chili peppers, fermented soybeans, rice, and salt).
Sonmat Banchan‘s Jap Chae Noodles (stir fried glass noodles with pork, carrots, onions, mushrooms, spinach, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, soy sauce).
