Families had a great time creating Valentine’s Day crafts and cards at The English Tea Cup at our Gummy Heart Festival on Saturday, February 11, 2017. By far, the most popular project was the magic color scratch hearts, but the lace heart butterflies, candy gift bags, and stickers and glitter glue used to create Valentine’s Day cards kept the kids busy and coming back to do more projects. The tea room did a booming business throughout the event to the point where the English Tea Cup had to stop accepting walk-ins for lunch. Everyone enjoyed the free tea tasting and imported chocolates. The English Tea Cup owners donated several boxes of chocolates and candy to Mile High Behavioral Health on Saturday so the Colfax Community Network had some goodies to give out on Valentine’s Day to the children staying in the motels along Colfax.
