Lyn Story moved to Colorado shortly after graduating from Clemson University and after taking a two-month camping trip around the United States. Being an avid camper, hiker, and snowboarder, Lyn fell in love with Colorado and has been a resident of Aurora since 1998. After seven years as a banker and bank manager with US Bank, Lyn moved to Key Bank to open the new Havana Gardens location in August of 2010.
Lyn’s last branch at US Bank was right up the street on Havana, so he has seen the improvement of the area. He remembers the former Buckingham Square Mall. Seeing the new Gardens on Havana development built was a major factor in his choice to move to Key Bank. He feels the area has always had an eclectic mix of cultures and there has been a lot of opportunity to bring more people to work, shop, live and thrive along Havana Street. Lyn states that the last few years have shown that with a little guidance and neighborhood team work an area can be transformed and he is proud to be part of Havana Street.
