KFC On Havana’s “Re-Colonelization”

May 18th, 2017

Fresh red and white stripes are being painted on the building exterior of KFC at 1551 So Havana.  In April of 2015, Yum Brands announced that over the next three years they would be spending $185 million to remodel KFC restaurants around the country as part of their “re-colonelization” plans.  The remodels include kitchen upgrades, as well as interior and exterior remodels.  KFC wants to ensure “Colonel-quality” fried chicken.  This renovation follows recent upgrades at Wendy’s and McDonald’s on Havana Street this year.
