  1. bb.q Chicken – Korean Fried Chicken – Soft Opening TBD, Spring 2022, 3/7/2022 soft opening has been delayed.
  2. Cast Iron Korean BBQ restaurant by JW Lee – Opening June 2022 (former Thai Basil/Hungry Wolf BBQ), same owner as Seoul KBBQ & Hot Pot, Seoul Mandoo, Mochinut, Coffee Story, & Thank Sol Pocha.
  3. Xclusive Events & VIP Services – 2740 Havana Street Unit J, New Event Space at Havana Exchange Shopping Center
  4. Baek Nyun Jang Soo – 100 Years of Longevity – Korean Furniture Store 2712 S Havana Street Unit C at Havana Exchange Shopping Center
  5. Dozens – New ownership will be renovated the building and has done about $75,000-100,00 in exterior investments, but in a few years the new ownership plans to build a new building for Dozens with a new outdoor patio space.
  6. Ventana Capital sold Havana Tower sold to a Nigerian business owner and will NOT be redeveloped into a retirement community. All tenants that wanted to stay resigned new leases with the new ownership. The Havana Tower is a multi-tenant office building located in the heart of Aurora, CO with size of 68,848 Sq. Ft. Office spaces ranged in size from 150 to 5,500 sf.  Ample parking at 3.5/1,000 sf.
  7. The parcel at 10590 E Tennessee Avenue, Aurora CO  80012 is now under contract. Neil Shea and Chance have been in communication, and he hopes the property is redeveloped. This property is located behind the Pho 99 restaurant and GoodYear near Portico with 0.627 Acres, (27,312 sf), Zoned B1, & Utilities on site.
  8. Cobblestone Auto Spa (Autawash/Autalube sold 5/26/2021) and soon to be redeveloped and waiting for the 3rd “CONDITIONAL USE FOR A CAR WASH IN A MU-C ZONE DISTRICT AND A SITE PLAN TO DEMOLISH THE EXISTING CAR WASH AND CONSTRUCT A NEW 125-FOOT TUNNEL CAR WASH, WITH OFFICE AND EQUIPMENT ROOM FOR A TOTAL OF 4,500 SQUARE FEET AND 19 VACUUM STATIONS. HOURS OF OPERATION WILL BE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS WHICH VARY ACCORDING TO THE SEASON. A REPLAT TO COMBINE TWO LOTS INTO ONE ON 0.94 ACRES.”
  9. Cobblestone Auto Spa — Second Location in the District: Cobblestone also purchased Living Water Car Wash (rebranded to Cobblestone Auto Spa in late 2021 & NOW OPEN on Sundays).

  2. StevO’s Pizza relocating to New Mexico and closing.
  3. Schomp Ford redevelopment is in the 3rd review and moving forward. “SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO EXPAND AND RENOVATE THE PREVIOUS MIKE NAUGHTON FORD DEALERSHIP. THE RENOVATIONS AND EXPANSIONS WILL INCLUDE THE SHOWROOM AND SERVICE DEPARTMENTS TO MEET CURRENT BRAND DESIGN STANDARDS. THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE WILL BE 109,071 SQUARE FEET WITH REWORKED 10.31 ACRES SITE LAYOUT TO RESPOND TO THE MU-C ZONING AND THE HAVANA OVERLAY DISTRICT FRONTAGE REQUIREMENTS. A PARCEL ACROSS BAYAUD WILL BE DEVELOPED FOR INVENTORY PARKING.”
  4. Stevinson Toyota East withdrew their site plan and application for redevelopment in early 2022.
  5. Schomp Mazda redevelopment is in the 3rd review and moving forward. “SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR REGRADING THE PARKING LOT, DEMOLITION OF TWO BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO-STORY APPROXIMATELY 48,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILITY AND THE ADDITION OF 8,000 SQUARE FEET TO AN EXISTING BUILDING. REPLAT FOR ONE LOT ON 5.63 ACRES.”
  6. ADI Autosport at AWAD Auto Sales Parking Lot Addition: “SITE PLAN AMDT, 1960 S HAVANA ST, SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO ADD PARKING/STORAGE FOR CAR SALES INVENTORY AT SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT.”
  7. Kum & Go – Havana & Jewel: Opening Early 2023, “ZONING MAP AMENDMENT TO REZONE 2.97 ACRES FROM R-2 TO MU-C, CONDITIONAL USE FOR A FUELING STATION IN A MU-C ZONE DISTRICT, CONDITIONAL USE FOR 24-HOUR OPERATIONS ADJACENT TO RESIDENTIAL, A SITE PLAN FOR A 5,620 SQUARE-FOOT CONVENIENCE STORE WITH AN 8-PUMP FUELING STATION AND A REPLAT TO CREATE TWO LOTS OUT OF THE CURRENT PARCEL ON 2.97 ACRES.”  K&G expressed interest in adding an On Havana Street sign to their monument if BID can provide the panels, then K&G will cover the install in early 2023. Also, Kum & Go offered to add an 8×8 concrete pad for the ART 2C public art program if the District supports the additional sculpture to the Art 2C program. This pad would not be available until 2023 so it would be included in the 2024-2026 program.
  8. Stampede – “MINOR AMENDMENT TO MODIFY THE FRONT ENTRY, RECONSTRUCT TWO STAIR ENTRIES, EXTEND THE ASPHALT PARKING, ADDING A STAIRWAY AND DECK, RECONSTRUCTING THE ADA LANDING AND MODIFYING THE EXISTING DETENTION POND.”
  9. Havana Plaza – “2222 S HAVANA ST, MINOR AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE FACADE AND MATERIALS.”
