New Content Creation Studio offers small businesses access to marketing content tools

To support the marketing efforts of small businesses struggling during COVID-19, the city of Aurora is opening a new Small Business Content Creation Studio—believed to be one of the first of its kind launched by a municipality nationwide. Currently based at The People’s Building, 9995 E. Colfax Ave., the studio is designed to provide Aurora businesses the space and equipment they need to create effective online marketing content.
The studio features professional photographic cameras, lighting and space for small businesses to generate high-quality and impactful photographs and video content to enhance their online business presence. Use of the studio and equipment is available free of charge, but by appointment only. Appointments are limited at this time due to COVID-19 and the city’s concern for the community’s health and safety.
The city is hosting a virtual information session from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Dec. 9 for businesses that want to find out more. Additional open houses are scheduled for Amharic speakers from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Dec. 9, for Spanish speakers from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Dec. 10, and for Korean speakers from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Dec. 10.
The Small Business Content Creation Studio is operating with support from the Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center and the city’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs.
