DEERFIELD, Ill., February 25th, 2019 – Start spreading the news! My Favorite Muffin, Your All Day
Bakery Café®, is coming to Aurora, CO. This location will be the fifth My Favorite Muffin® location in
Colorado. The My Favorite Muffin® will be located at 1627 S. Havana St., next to the Safeway. Local
owner-operators Salvador and Linette Mendoza are very excited to be bringing My Favorite Muffin® to
Aurora.
My Favorite Muffin® stands apart from the crowd because of our incredibly unique cake-like muffins.
There are hundreds of different recipe options that wow our customers. In addition, the menu includes
made to order breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches. Beyond the traditional bakery café, My Favorite
Muffin® also offers impressive muffin gift baskets and wonderful catering options. This location will also
feature specialty Brewster’s® coffee.
My Favorite Muffin® in Aurora is a local family owned and operated business. Salvador and Linette
Mendoza have 11 children, 7 grandkids and counting. Having lived in the Denver area for years, the
Mendoza family was drawn to Aurora’s diversity. They spend a lot of their leisure time in the community
and are regulars to many of the local restaurants. They love the varieties of cuisines the city has to offer
and felt that My Favorite Muffin® would be a great addition to the area. They are very excited to cater to
the cultural melting pot that Aurora represents.
