Nominate an outstanding Aurora business for recognition
AURORA, Colo. – The city of Aurora is accepting nominations from the community from June 1 to July 8 for its annual Aurora Business Recognition Awards Program, which began in 2005 to celebrate successful businesses that are leaders in the workplace and community.
The program recognizes not only the economic vitality that businesses of all sizes and types bring to Aurora, but also the support these businesses provide to their employees and broader community. Award winners will be honored in person this fall at the Aurora Municipal Center.
Nominees will be evaluated by one or more of the following criteria: resiliency and community impact, innovation and creativity; “small, small” businesses with great customer service; manufacturing; and equity, diversity and inclusion. Honorable mentions also will be given to essential heroes such as community organizations, individuals, nonprofits and community initiatives that continued to provide essential services throughout the pandemic. Additional details are available at AuroraGov.org/BusinessAwards.
Nominees must be licensed in the city of Aurora and registered with the state of Colorado.
Visit AuroraGov.org/BusinessAwards for more information, to view a list of past award winners and to complete a nomination form. For questions, contact Elena Vasconez at 303.326.8808 or [email protected].
