Nominate an outstanding Aurora business for recognition by Dec. 31
AURORA, Colo. – The city of Aurora is accepting nominations from the community until Dec. 31 for its annual Aurora Business Recognition Awards Program, which began in 2005 to celebrate successful businesses that are leaders in the workplace and community.
The program recognizes not only the economic vitality that businesses of all sizes and types bring to Aurora, but also the support these businesses provide to their employees and broader community. Award winners will be honored in the spring 2021 in a virtual format.
Given the current public health crisis, this year’s winners will be recognized in light of that context. Nominees will be evaluated by one or more of the following criteria: resiliency during the pandemic, innovation, creativity and sustainability; community impact; job retention; and ability to provide essential services. Special consideration also will be given to businesses with 15 or fewer employees.
Nominees must be licensed in the city of Aurora and registered with the state of Colorado.
Visit AuroraGov.org/BusinessAwards for more details, to view a list of past award winners and to complete a nomination form. For more information, contact Elena Vasconez at 303.326.8808 or [email protected].
