On Havana Street Distributes Masks to the BID

May 1st, 2020

The On Havana Street Board voted to purchase 400 masks from the Mile High Workshop to support a local non-profit and our business stakeholders in need in the district. Many of our stakeholders shared challenges on getting masks for their employees and the delays in shipments. The Havana BID board wanted to help and collaborated with the Mile High Workshop. Each mask purchased allows for Mile High Workshop to make another donation to our first responders and healthcare workers locally. The masks are currently in production and as soon as they are available Chance will reach out to the BID businesses.

***Update:  A small batch from Mile High Workshop was delivered to essential businesses in the district on May 1, 2020. Plus the generous Haines and Kim family donated DIY masks and filters to be shared with On Havana Street businesses. Please see photos below from the distributions of masks to businesses in our corridor.
