Our Parks, Our Places: A Plan for Aurora’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space
The city of Aurora Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is embarking on a planning process over the next year to look at all the parks, open spaces and recreation in the city. The purpose of the project is to understand the community’s needs now and in the future.
The project will focus on five key areas: equitable access in using our sites and programs, improving connections with the community and businesses, increasing health and safety of both nature and users, resilient and sustainable growth in a fast-growing city and increasing efficiency in operations.
Public engagement will occur in every step of the process to ensure the final plan reflects the community’s needs and desires. Visit
EngageAurora.org/AuroraParks to take
