Virtual Halloween 2020 Costume Contest

Participate in On Havana Street’s Virtual Halloween Costume Contest

October 1st, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re unable to host in-person Halloween events this year. While we’re greatly saddened by this reality, it doesn’t mean we can’t still help make your Halloween a festive occasion.

Our annual costume contest is still taking place this year. However, it will be held virtually in order to promote responsible social distancing and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Gift cards from the On Havana Street Shops will be given to top entries in each of the following categories:

First Place Winners for the Group, Adult, Child & Pet Costume Categories will receive a $20 Gift Card from an On Havana Street business.

Second Place Winners for the Group, Adult, Child & Pet Costume Categories will receive a $30 Gift Card from an On Havana Street business.

Third Place Winner for the Group, Adult, Child & Pet Costume Categories will receive a $50 Gift Card from an On Havana Street business.

How to Participate

Participating in our virtual costume contest is easy. Enter by visiting our website to submit your costume photos here on the event page or see the form below this blog.

You can submit entries between October 1st and October 31st. There’s no cost to enter, and it’s a great way to stay connected with our community during a unique and unusual Halloween season.

This is sponsored by the Havana Business Improvement District – On Havana Street to support our local businesses in our corridor from 6th Avenue to Dartmouth Ave. This is not sponsored or affiliated with Instagram or Facebook.

Please feel free to tag your Halloween costume photos on our Instagram & Facebook pages @OnHavanaStreet & add #OnHavanaStreet

Trick or Treating in 2020

While there will be no in-person trick or treating events hosted by On Havana Street this year, we still encourage you to enjoy this Halloween tradition in a way that reflects the safety recommendations of our public health experts. We’ll be posting some tips on our website during October to help you ensure your children take all necessary precautions when trick or treating. Check back on our website as we get closer to Halloween to access this valuable information.
