Seoul BBQ opened in 2007.  Owners Jimmy and Lily Kwon are experienced restaurateurs having been at least part owners in over 35 restaurants around the country over the years. They own a second location of Seoul BBQ on 104th in Northglenn.   Seoul BBQ on Havana is elegant and upscale with art on the walls and potted plants to create a tranquil setting. The Kwons have recently opened Seoul BBQ Catering in the tenant space next door to their restaurant.  This is a lovely new venue that includes a coffee house with seating.

Seoul BBQ serves high quality Korean and Japanese cuisine in both their sit-down restaurant as well as their new catering operation.  The menu includes Japanese sushi, sashimi, and nigiri.  The Korean dishes include classic Korean BBQ, stews and soups, bulgogi, to name just a few.  The complimentary banchan (Korean collection of side dishes/appetizers) which is served first includes traditional Korean cuisine flavors of garlic, chili, pickling and Kimchi. YUM!

We can proudly state that South Havana Street is the best place to find Korean markets and BBQ restaurants anywhere in Colorado. Seoul BBQ is one of many incredible little restaurants and shops you will experience on Havana Street.

Seoul BBQ review in Westword: “Sure, grilling your own marinated pork or beef is a big draw at this top-notch Korean barbecue, and you certainly can’t go wrong with the kalbi, bulgogi or thin pork-belly slices that sizzle and pop at the center of your table while you sample your way through the numerous saucers of banchan (appetizers) that come with every meal. But if you’re not in the mood to cook, let the kitchen do the work for you with funky kimchi pancakes, a four-alarm plate of snails in a fire-engine red sauce, or bubbling soups served in miniature stone cauldrons. Seoul BBQ is Havana Street’s number-one stop for lovers of both bold seasonings and robust, warming fare. Start with a cold beer and work your way through a banquet that’s equal parts backyard cookout and whirlwind street-food tour.”

Be sure to stop by Seoul BBQ & Sushi to enter the drawing for a chance to win the $500 Visa Debit Card.  The entry box is on the small table inside the door of Seoul BBQ catering & coffee shop door just north of the restaurant.  There is no purchase required to enter the drawing and the drawing will take place on March 29, 2017 with the winner notified by phone.
