Since 2000, Golf Cart Doctor Inc. has provided service to Aurora/Denver, Colorado and the surrounding areas with prompt golf cart repairs as well as exceptional golf cart sales. They are proud to be a locally owned and operated, full-service, independent golf cart dealer. Golf Cart Doctor operated out of the back of the former Buckingham Rental on South Ironton Street for several years. Owner, Mike Pieper, purchased the S. Ironton St property from Buckingham Rental about 4-1/2 years ago.
Golf Cart Doctor sells new and pre-owned golf carts. They also sell parts and accessories for the carts and they service what they sell. Parts and accessories include snow plow blades, cargo boxes, rear seats, chargers, Trojan batteries, tires, replacement bodies and windshields for the carts. They repair charging systems, electrical systems, steering and alignment. Their customers include golf courses and many of the apartment complexes in the area that use golf carts for their maintenance operations.
It’s common to see golf carts whizzing around not just golf courses these days, but also festivals, retirement communities, airports and so many other places. And when they break down? Well, it’s time to call Golf Cart Doctor Inc. This Aurora company started more than three decades ago as a mobile business with 280 clients. Former Honeywell sales rep and budding entrepreneur Mike Pieper bought the business in 2000. Since then, Golf Cart Doctor has grown exponentially, with more than 4,700 clients (mostly non-golf related), a permanent storefront in central Aurora and six employees. Located just off of Havana Street, Mike is a proud member of the Havana Business Improvement District.
He still proudly offers mobile repairs so clients don’t have to bring in their carts for service, and is the only metro-area business to offer comprehensive mobile golf cart service to ensure minimal disruption for the customer. Golf Cart Doctor Inc. doesn’t just fix problem carts, but sells new ones as well. In 2018, the business generated $1.5 million in sales. To benefit the community, Golf Cart Doctor Inc. loans a truck and trailer to carry children with disabilities in the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and provides and complimentary repairs for golf cart vehicles during special events like the Halloween train at Nick’s Garden Center and The Children’s Hospital Toy Run at the Aurora Sports Park.
