Ready for story time? Join us on July 1st for snacks and a story provided by Aurora Public Library. Story Time and snacks will be held in the play area on the lower level by JCPenney on the first Friday of every month. Get tickets now!
Start July off right with a series of free concerts coming from local artisans, and makers. There will also be authentic foods courtesy of local food trucks. What’s better than great food and great art?
Get ready for the fourth of July with a pop-up explosion! From 10 am to 3 pm come visit the free indoor market located at the Holiday Inn. There will be food, music, and drinks to begin the fourth of July festivities. Click here for tickets!
Celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks, food trucks, and live entertainment. The festivities begin at 6 pm on Aurora’s Municipal Center’s Great Lawn. Get there early to find a perfect spot and get in line for the food trucks early! Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm, so bring a blanket or chair to sit and admire the show among friends and family.
Rescue Puppy Yoga is back! Relax and cuddle with puppies in this event co-hosted by Vibe Yoga, and Stanley Marketplace. Along with Puppy Yoga, artist Adriana Elena will do a live painting at the event. Her art will be raffled off at the event. All of the proceeds go to the rescue puppies. Hope to see you there!
This event will honor ethnic diversity and promote it through neighborhood small businesses. You can buy food, crafts, household goods, jewelry, and other items from a wide variety of international vendors. Enjoy music, dance, and ethnic festivities while you shop!
Visit us to watch a movie outside! The Field at Stanley will host outdoor movie evenings thanks to Stanley Marketplace. The Visit Aurora-sponsored “Film on the Field” series will begin on Sunday, May 15, at twilight, and continue through September on the third Sunday of each month.
Join us for the Hero’s journey 5k to commemorate everyone who has faced a challenge and overcame it. The run/walk starts across from the theater and ends in the 7/20 Memorial in the Reflection Garden. All proceeds go to the Zack Golditch opportunity scholarship. Zack is a firefighter who was wounded during the 2012 Aurora Theater Shooting. Run with us to honor and celebrate our collective accomplishment as well as our heroes from the 7-20-12 tragedy. Back again this year, come experience an old-fashioned carnival with food, rides, and of course carnival games. Unlimited ride wristbands are 35$. Fun for the whole family, come from any time from July 1st to the 10th. On the weekdays, the carnival is open from 5 pm to 9 pm. On the weekends, the carnival is open from 12 am to 12 pm. Enjoy the extravagant event put on by Aurora town center with friends and family, hope to see you there!
Take in some of the city’s most skilled musicians while enjoying live music, beverages, and delicious food selections on Town Square. Southlands is a fantastic outdoor shopping center with something for everyone. There is a theater there, as well as numerous cafes, eateries, apparel boutiques, Barnes & Noble, and specialty shops. It’s a wonderful spot to visit on a lovely day to get some ice cream and take in the lovely music.
Come in and grab all you need for your cookouts and weekend get-togethers. Every week, different local foods, fruits, and handmade items are available. After that, unwind with a cool drink and continue browsing at all of Stanley’s amazing stores. From June through the end of September, this event will take place every Friday from 3 to 7 p.m.
