March is Small Business Month On Havana Street. We are highlighting four businesses and sponsoring special drawings at each of the four businesses during March.

Woody’s Wings 2 has been family owned and operated since 1990. They specialize in Buffalo style chicken wings that originated in Buffalo, New York. Woody’s owner, Ken Graham, is retired now and can be spotted frequenting playing area golf courses. Ken’s daughter, Brook, manages their Chamber Rd location and brothers, Jason and Gerrod Graham, run the day-to-day operation of the business at Woody’s Wings 2 on Havana.
One of Woody’s Wings’ biggest challenge is trying to compete with all the big-name franchises and corporations that have more of a well-known name, the money backing them to advertise and small but cheaper, discounted wings. Even though Woody’s Wings is a small business, they hold their own and do not let the big guys bring them down. Why? They strive on being number 1 and making sure it stays that way. The wings at Woody’s are fresh not frozen, their sauces are made daily and they do not make their wings in batches but, instead, wings are made to order. One of the other best things about Woody’s Wings is that their wings are bigger and meatier than most out there. Since their wings are so delicious and their service is top notch, most of their marketing/advertising comes from their customers through word of mouth, keeping their advertising budget low.
