A round of applause for On Havana Street and Yelp for putting on such a fun and unique event! Every single local vendor was a delight to chat with, learn about their specialties, their history, and of course what a privilege to try a few samples.
We live in north Denver, but are finding ourselves out this way more and more often to try the incredible assortment of international cuisines. We both loved being introduced to so many new places in one night. Believe me, we took notes and will be popping in to treat ourselves to a full meal!
On top of the awesome food vendors, it was fun to browse the antique mall, noticing the curated collections of each seller, stepping back into the past for a bit and we even picked up a couple records. Thank you again for all the work that went into this experience!!
Yelp Denver is always bringing us the most creative and unique events. I originally looked past this event because I wasn’t sure what the deal was, but after attending another Yelp event and getting the inside scoop of what was planned – I was sold! What a great way to show of local businesses – both the restaurants and the antique store! All of the businesses there were incredibly kind! Loved chatting with each business and learning inside details about the history of their business. The antique store – a hidden gem!!! Reasonable prices and a WIDE variety. It was nice to walk around and explore while munching on our goodies. My favorites of the night — the animal skulls at the shop and the korean fried chicken!
I really appreciate events like this that allow us to bring a guest to show off how much our Yelp community and city has to offer. Thank you for always keeping things fresh and bringing us the best!!
This event was different but it was great to again walk around old antiques and things you. Or ally don’t see. They had a huge selection of foreign items and nice paintings to a decent price.
The food that was there was really good and they had a huge variety available. I will definitely go again to the antique store but also to visit a few of the restaurants that were there to hand out samples.

Thank you Matt and On Havana Street for hosting another fantastic event for our elite community. There were a lot of mom and pop shops and it was lovely to meet the owners and hear their stories. They’re passionate about their business and there was something different for everyone. This was a scavenger to search for each table because some were hidden away near the back. It was fun to sample each item.
The baklava was delicious because it’s made with pistachios. The angry chicken booth was memorable because of the owners’ personality and their joking teasing nature – loved the sample soju shots. Overall, this was a great experience to meet more from the owners on Havana.

Yelp’s 2nd Aurora antique mall scavenger hunt event was as great as the first. Showcasing, yet again, local shops and restaurants. Plenty of samples to find, interlaced throughout the two floors of antiques. And the antiques this year were very different from the previous year, so the experience felt almost all new.
Some returning favorites, like Angry Chicken and Piramides. Some newcomers, like Milkroll. Some returning vendors changed it up, making for a new experience. Angry Chicken showed off their new healthy chicken wrapped in shaved daikon radish with fresh veggies. It was shockingly good. Some vendors did the same thing as last year, like Sam’s No. 3 and Piramides. Not going to lie, I was specifically hoping those two were going to be the same, so I lucked out. I love Sam’s green chile, and the tacquitos, guac, burrito slice, mini plate is just a crowd pleaser.
Great seeing some fellow yelpers at the event. A few usual suspects that I tend to see (you know who you are!) and plenty more friendly folks around.
Thank you Antique Mall, Matt, and Aurora businesses for putting together this amazing event.

What a fun place to sample local Havana Streets’ eats and treats! It was literally a two-story scavenger hunt for delicious foods while browsing fun antiques.
Milkroll Creamery was so much fun. I had never tried milkrolled ice cream before, and I loved it! I tried both oreo and fruity pebble, and the fruity pebble was my fav of the two. I will definitely visit Milkroll in the future to try more of their ice cream.
Angry Chicken was awesome. The guys were so friendly and helpful, and they also had soju samples. This was my first time trying soju and Korean Fried chicken wings and I loved both! I really enjoyed the honey garlic sauce they had to sample with the wings. One of our fellow Yelpers also told me that their Korean fried chicken is the best in the area, so I will be sure to go to Angry Chicken when I have a hankering for fried chickie.
Sam’s No. 3 served up some delicious world-famous green chile. Not spicy at all. The owner Patrick was such a kind person and shared with me the history of the restaurant. Apparently, the restaurant has been around since 1927? Wow. All family owned and operated. That’s awesome.
The baklava was ooey-gooey deliciousness. I will 100% visit Sara’s Market & Bakery to treat myself to more when I’m in the area.
So many oddities and antiques to browse and shop for. This store would make a great spot to buy gifts for those into such things.
All in all, it was a fun evening, and I would be happy to support any of the businesses there. Thanks Yelp, Havana Street, and Heirlooms, for a great evening!

Thank you Heirlooms Antique Mall & YES for a fun evening of food, drinks and antique treasure finds.
I was lucky enough to attend last years event and this years was even better.
Kudos to all of the shops that brought food, drinks and other goodies to taste and take home.
I came hungry, left happy and bought some items from the shop.
A great event. Thanks Matt C for knocking it out of the park and Amy W. for your always taking fantastic pictures.

Antiques + vintage + delicious food = happiness 😀
Couldn’t have asked for a more rewarding experience. Local food, friendly people, and a great selection of vintage and antique household items.
From beautiful books to collectible items, you will find it all here. I purchased much needed glassware and an antique book that I will cherish for many years to come.
The owner, Scott, is super cool and passionate about his trade. Prices are so very reasonable.
Can’t recommend this business enough and the food vendors were amazing and recommend them as well. The Euro market, (Soloman’s) the fresh juice and muffins, and Mexican food (Piramides) were my favorites. So much love and passion went into this event and couldn’t be more grateful for that.
Thanks Matt and Amy!
This is my 2nd year going to this event and it was cool to see new and returning vendors from last year! The food and vendors were amazing as always. Getting able to taste new food in one place is a huge bonus in my book since you get a lot of different variety of foods along with shopping at and supporting a local antique store!
This year we got to experience a new dish from Angry Chicken which was cool while there were other new places we’ve never even heard about like Coco Loco who had amazing little muffins. This year we learned a little more about Sam’s No 3 too and learned 2 of his other brothers run their other locations and how the 3 in their name represented the 3 brothers and 3rd generation of family running the business.
I did not get a pic of the Yelp swag table in my excitement however we got cute little planters this year and I can’t wait for the weather to be consistently warmer so I can start mine! I would love to see this event happen every year and have lots of others experience this as well! 😀
2nd year going to this event! Love the assortment of different food vendors throughout this antique store! Not only do you get great food selection at this YES event, but you get to browse the cool collection of different sellers.
I always enjoy trying to see what “new” antiques are out there and there are some items that you have never seen before or some that you haven’t seen in a long time that has that nostalgia effect. I hope this event becomes an annual thing that we can make tradition.
