The Havana Business Improvement District – On Havana Street is changing up their quarterly networking events.
The District was asked to host an APD Leadership Listening Session in July. We combined our existing networking event with the listening session.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM – APD Leadership Listening Session – Assorted empanadas and non-alcoholic beverages at Orejano – 800 S Havana Street. APD will also provide resources and safety steering wheel locks for vehicles for the workforce along On Havana Street.
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM – Networking & Exploring South Havana Shops (Havana Auto Parts, Orejano, and Camel International Market)
This is a great opportunity to meet other HBID stakeholders along Havana and celebrate the NEW businesses in our corridor.
This will also allow about 60+ businesses On Havana Street to connect and network with the Aurora Police Department’s PAR officers and District 1 Commander Shipley, City Council members, the Mayor, and other community partners.

This family-owned and operated Halal Market has an incredible inventory of products from all over the world, from snacks and sweet treats to canned goods, coffee and tea, and so much more! Camel International Market also has a great selection of fresh vegetables and produce, and halal meat.
Come in and shop amazing and unique products that you won’t see at your neighborhood grocery store, including a great selection of Middle Eastern and halal goods.
The Minority Business Office (MBO) of Colorado, part of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), is focused on increasing economic opportunities for minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses. The MBO provides resources and support to help these businesses establish, expand, and strengthen their local, national, or international presence. They connect businesses with resources, offer technical assistance, and facilitate access to government contracts and other opportunities.
